1944

Fábrica de Tranças Brasil LTDA is founded by Mário Facioli, focused on the textile industry.

1950

Production of fishing line begins.

1960

Textile material for the footwear industry begins to be produced.

1970

Production of copper strands is launched.

1980

The company Tramar Industrial LTDA is founded as a textile industry.

1988

Insulating spaghettis go into production.

1993

Development of cables for compressors and motor binding line.

1998

Relocation to the current industrial park, also in Cabreúva, with a total area of 125,000 m².

1999

Silicone cables begin to be manufactured.

2000

ISO certification is implemented.

2002

Manufacturing of cables in vulcanized rubber (EPR).

2004

Cable approval at UL.

2010

Beginning of flexible heater manufacturing.

2013

Launch of the cable line for mobile use (steel and mining industries) and railway applications.

2016

A 3,000 m² logistics center is built.

2018

Tramar signs a contract with the Brazilian Navy and Naval Group (France) to supply electrical cables for the PROSUB project.

2019

Unification between FTB and Tramar: Tramar Special Conductors. A company in synergy — unified, renewed, resilient, flexible, and stronger.

2021

A new laboratory is built, providing greater quality and safety for projects.

2023

Certified as a Strategic Defense Company.

2024

We celebrate 80 years of history.

2025

We launched the first SHD cable with LED manufactured in Brazil, and also the world’s first low-voltage cable with LED technology.
